Thyme Cafe has just opened in Havelock North on Tuesday. Thyme is now open for breakfast and lunch every day except Monday.
- The Salt & Vinegar Calamari is unique in Hawke’s Bay. Dan makes the aioli & candied lemongrass from scratch.
- Dan brings his own style to Thyme after finishing up in the kitchen at Gintrap in Ahuriri. The special of the day was green pea, bacon & blue cheese risotto. Looked tempting but will have to save for next time!
- Cabinet food is available, including the pie cabinet serving all the favourite BJ’s pies. BJ Coffee cards are also still accepted.
Room for Improvement
- The liquor licence is in the process of getting completed. Once complete, Thyme is looking at opening some evenings.
